MAC will be hosting our driving school, intended for novice autocrossers (less than 1 season experience, no previous autocross school) who want to learn more about the sport, how to get started, what to bring, how to prepare, how an event is conducted, and more!

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Lunch provided
Registration Fee: $50
Entry Limit: 35 drivers
Schedule:
7:00 - Check in and registration (Plan to be on site by this time)
7:30 - Classroom session begins
8:45 - Tech inspection
10:00 - Drivers Meeting
11:00 - First car off!
4:00 - Wrap up

Event requirements
What you need to bring:
- Valid driver's license
- Closed toed shoes
- Car in good working order
- Battery securely fastened
- Must have two seats and seatbelts for student and instructor
- No trucks or SUVs due to rollover risk (please email if you want verification for your vehicle)
- Helmet (SNELL 2010 or newer)
- Desire to learn and have fun
All events at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds have a 103dBc sound limit. If your car breaks this limit during an event, you will be required to make a mechanical change to the exhaust before taking another run.
Any license or permit which requires another licensed driver in the automobile is not acceptable. Minor drivers must be able to show that they have permission to operate the automobile and a parent or guardian must be present at check-in.
